SCHELM STRING QUARTET (JAPAN) MALAYSIA DEBUT TOUR
< Back to EventsThe Schelm String Quartet (Japan) will visit UiTM Faculty of Music in April to work with diploma and degree music students from the Diploma in Music, Bachelor of Music Education (Hons), Bachelor of Music Composition (Hons), Bachelor of Music Performance (Hons) and Bachelor of Music Business (Hons) programs. Two workshops, two solo and quartet masterclasses, and a concert will be held at UiTM. Activities are aimed at providing musical training for the young while fostering international understanding and collaborations between Malaysia and Japan.
Schelm String Quartet comprises of Professor Masayuki Kino (1st violin), Takuto Matsunoki (2nd violin), Kaito Ikeda (viola) and Sakura Tashiro Peatey (cello). They will be accompanied by their international coordinator, Ms Kyoko Matsunoki. All events are open to the public.
